Impairments in visual and working memory are linear in unaffected relatives of psychotic BD and schizophrenia patients. Impairments in control inhibition, cognitive flexibility and abstract reasoning also follow the same pattern. Processing speed and verbal fluency impairments were evident only in schizophrenia relatives. Self-perceived symptoms/social functioning do not depend on history of psychosis.
