Internal heat integration from rectifier and solution recirculation is studied. The traditional single-effect cycle can be replaced by the improved cycle. The solution recirculation can be eliminated at large temperature lifts. The heat recovery from rectifier in GAX cycle is not useful. The improvement in COP can be as high as 24%.
