We investigate mechanism of recrystallization texture formation in IF steel. Mesoscopic modeling is performed using crystal plasticity FEM and cellular automaton. Deformation texture is decomposed according to orientation-dependent stored energy. Simulations show a good agreement with experimental kinetics, grain size and texture.
