Promoted coarsening and recrystallization resistance were found in Al-0.25Zr-0.03Y. Equilibrium solubility of Y decreased dramatically in Al-0.25Zr-Y compared with Al-Y. Physical properties of precipitates were revealed with classical nucleation theory.
