Hydrazine was found to be a promising reducing agent for oxidant control. In presence of hydrazine corrosion potential of SS304 LN was well below −230 mV. SS304LN could be protected from IGSCC by hydrazine addition. Thermal and radiation stability of hydrazine at 285 °C was found satisfactory.
