The effect of reaction mode on CO2 photocatalytic reduction was investigated. Solid-liquid mode prefers H2 production while solid-gas mode tends to CO2 reduction. The combined reaction mode enhanced the selective of Pt/TiO2 for CO2 reduction. The combined reaction mode exhibited the highest CH4 and CO yield.
