The analysis of glycidol and 3-monochloropropanediol esters in fish oil is validated. An alkaline hydrolysis using only 3-MCPD-d5 as internal standard is proposed. GC-MS/MS is used as analytical technique to measure the target compounds. The validation includes an intercomparison study with a reference laboratory. After validation, the method is being applied as routine sample analysis of compounds.
