Thermal performance of coating materials containing different additives is characterized. Titanium dioxide and hollow glass beads can lead to a drop on coating surface temperature. The light propagation can be examined by finite difference time domain simulation. Titanium dioxide nanoparticles can significantly improve the reflective performance of coating.
