Comparative study on two low-grade heat driven absorption-compression refrigeration cycles based on energy, exergy, economic and environmental (4E) analyses
Two absorption-compression cycles (EC and ES) are compared based on 4E analyses. EC saves 22.5% more electricity but has 23.5% lower COPg and 35.1% lower ηexηex. The better cycle is obtained for different electricity price and CO2 tax rate. Components with best potential to improve exergy and economy performance are given.
