miR-601 was found to be downregulated in metastatic pancreatic cancer. miR-601 inhibited pancreatic cancer proliferation and migration. Sirt1 was identified as a novel target of miR-601. Sirt1 mediated the effect of miR-601 on pancreatic cancer growth.
