The most effective factors to offset sarcopenia and obesity in the older Korean: Physical activity, vitamin D, and protein intake

Higher muscle mass was observed in the non-obese group. Protein intake showed a closer association with obesity than sarcopenia. The level of vitamin D and metabolic equivalent score showed greater associations with sarcopenia than obesity. Resistance exercise with vitamin D and protein intake is important to non-obese individuals with sarcopenia.
