Unified material model for highly confined concrete in SRC/PSRC column is proposed. Interaction mechanism between steel section and confined concrete is investigated. Effect of biaxial stress state of steel section on its material model is considered. Proposed analytical model accurately predicts the axial behavior of SRC/PSRC column. Simplified method, instead of iterative process, is proposed for calculating real stress in steel hoops.
