We sought climate-topography-forest fluxes relationships in pine and oak forests. Ecosystem ET and GEP were higher in oak than in pine forests but with lower WUE. Temperature had the strongest and adverse effect on ET and GEP in both forests. Topography had only a secondary effect and rainfall had no effect on GEP. We predicted reduction of 16% in GEP for warming of 1 °C in both forest types.
