A novel effluent treatment method for removing dilute anions has been developed. Polymer–surfactant aggregates (PSAs) are formed to remove the anions. Plot the change in conductivity over change in surfactant concentration. Use conductivity to estimate the CFC, the optimum dosage and the CMC. The process can cope with the presence of salt and organic contaminants.
