The method of empathy-based stories is useful for inquiring about desirable futures. Green roofs were imagined to offer social interaction, resting and renewal. Experiencing varying nature and seasons, and growing local food were important. Work place green roofs were particularly rich with mentions of diverse nature. Design implications include a manifold of uses, benefits, experiences and structures.
