GDD requirement for green-up varied substantially across the Tibetan Plateau (TP). GDD requirement was less in colder and wetter areas of TP. Temporal changes in GDD requirement were extensively related with chilling days. GDD requirement is no sensitive to decline in chilling days due to warming. Reduction in chilling accumulation may not affect the dormancy break.
