First study to examine hourly heat impacts on ambulance calls. Heat-ambulance calls associations appeared immediately and lasted for 24 h. Findings are important to develop precise early heat-warning systems. Results are helpful to increase the response speed of ambulance calls. This study is important to rescue patients suffering life threatening conditions.
