This study provides a method to improve fire resistance of SHCC. The effect of steel fibers on residual mechanical properties of SHCC was studied. The effect of hybrid PVA and steel fibers on explosive spalling resistance of SHCC under heating was presented. DIC technique was applied to investigate the cracking process of fire-damaged SHCC under tension.
