During six seismic events, over 30 channels have documented response of the bridge, abutments, and adjacent ground surface. Of special interest is the response of a bridge pier with records at the deck, pile cap and underlying pile foundation. Response of this pile foundation is compared to that of the ground at the nearby Eureka geotechnical downhole array. Records from the 2010 earthquake (PGA of about 0.16 g), along with other low-amplitude events (2007–2014) are studied. On the basis of the recorded motions, the ground, pile foundation, and overall bridge seismic response are evaluated. Spatial variation of the recorded motions is examined. During the strongest shaking phase, stiffness reduction was observed in the instrumented pier column and foundation.
