文摘
This is the first study comparing forest fire and pyrolytic chars in contaminates. Mechanisms responsible for contaminant removal in aged chars were unclear. Oxygen Functionality mainly affected Cu2+ and Ni2+ sorption in aged forest-char. Pyrolytic chars had higher polarity index and lower aromaticity than forest char. Ageing effect on forest char led to less carboxylic group, more O on edges.
