Exergy analysis of combined torrefaction and gasification process was conducted. Proper equivalence ratio for torrefied rice husk pellet is in the range of 0.2–0.3. The optimal torrefaction temperature of rice husk pellet is 250 °C. The overall exergy efficiency of rice husk pellet at 250 °C is 30%.
