Potential role of predators on carbon dynamics of marine ecosystems as assessed by a Bayesian belief network

We construct a Bayesian belief network to assess ecosystem effects of fishing. We simulate commercial fishing and shark finning processes. Removal of predators results in probable increases in carbon dioxide production. Fishing practices may be contributing to climate change.
