Body dissatisfaction is the negative self-evaluation of bodily size, shape, weight, and musculature. Attentional biases for thin bodies was measured using the dot-probe paradigm. Body dissatisfaction predicted an attentional bias for thin male bodies in men. Body dissatisfaction predicted an attentional bias for thin female bodies in women.
