Fully nonlinear Green strain-displacement relationship is used. The coupling terms in strain energy expression are retained. The rotating speed limit is obtained by analyse equation of axial motion. Result shows the rotating speed does not produce significant effect on axial stretching frequency. Effects of steady-state axial deformation and Coriolis term on transverse deformation are investigated.
