RuAl2 is more thermodynamically stable than that of other Ru-Al compounds. Two new phases: Ru2Al5 with hexagonal structure and Ru3Al with cubic structure are predicted. Ru3Al is expected to one of the promising high-temperature materials. The bulk modulus of Ru-Al compounds depends on the Ru concentration.
