The activated carbon was prepared from lignocelluloses Albizia Lebbeck Pods by chemical activation method. NaOH and KOH were impregnated with activated carbon in different mixing ratio for transesterification of rubber seed oil. Mixture design methods are effectively used to optimize the process. Albizia Lebbeck Pods is the herald material for the preparation of activated carbon.
