A new type of magnetocaloric composite based on conductive polymer and magnetocaloric compound

We developed a new type of magnetocaloric composite: PAni-CSA/Gd5.09Ge2.03Si1.88. We presented a processing route which use a conductive polymer instead of epoxy resins or thermoplastic polymers. We varied the concentration of PAni-CSA (numerical type) and sintering (categorical type). We analyzed the matrix (PAni-CSA), the magnetocaloric reinforcement (Gd5.09Ge2.03Si1.88) and the composites. We presented and discussed mechanical, electrical and magnetocaloric properties.
