Fowl typhoid in laying hens cause hepatic oxidative stress

Salmonella Gallinarum causes the systemic disease known as fowl typhoid. Bacterial infection caused damages in the membrane lipids and increase free radicals. In response to oxidative imbalance, laying hens increased levels of antioxidants enzymes. Laying hens with fowl typhoid has oxidative stress. Oxidative stress may contribute to the pathophysiology and clinical signs of this disease.
