Ceramic nanofiltration membrane was used for desalination of dye solutions containing NaCl and Na2SO4. Dye EBT solutions with mixture of salts showed higher flux than that with single salt. Self-aggregation and salting-out due to decrease of zeta potential of dye were responsible for the high rejection of EBT. Ceramic nanofiltration membrane showed better separation performance compared with DK and DL membranes.
