Safety of nuclear plants under normal operating conditions depends on a full knowledge of the relationship between reactivity and neutron flux. The present paper, suggests a C.P.T. (Classical Perturbation Theory) approach for studying slow varying, small reactivity transients and analyses the inhomogeneity witnesses between the behaviour of reactivity and neutron flux.
