Allobilharzia visceralis were found from whooper swans (Cygnus cygnus) in Japan. Species identification was performed on the basis of ribosomal ITS2 sequences. The flukes were found in the veins or capillaries of several organs. Neither eggs of the worm nor severe organ damage were observed in any of the swans.
