We model 16 special concentrically braced frames (SCBF) to determine seismic response. We obtain out-of-plane displacement response of SCBF under static and dynamic loading. A new expression is proposed to determine out-of-plane displacement of SCBF. Out-of-plane displacement is determined in terms of the storey drift ratio and the slenderness ratio.
