Molecular composition of several soil organic matter fractions from anthropogenic black soils (Terra Preta de Índio) in Amazonia — A pyrolysis-GC/MS study
Analytical pyrolysis of several soil OM fractions from Terra Preta de Índio (TPI). High variability in molecular composition between both TPI soils. Larger contribution from non-extractable black carbon in TPI than reference soils. Opposing depth trends for the same pyrolysis products in TPI and reference soils. Larger contribution from both plant and black carbon derived products in Au horizons.
