An 18-year-old male patient presented with complaints of diffused dull aching type of backache. X-ray showed L3 and L4 limbus vertebra and MRI showed multiple Schmorl nodes with limbus vertebras. The patient was advised physiotherapy and stretching, as well as regular follow-up. It was a confounding diagnosis, as the Sorensen criteria for the diagnosis of Scheuermann disease were not fulfilled; but on confirming with X-ray and MRI, proper diagnosis and treatment were advised.
