A micro plasma actuator was experimentally characterized and numerically modelled.

Three different approaches of modelling the plasma-induced body force were tested.

The Dual Potential Model, calibrated on experimental forces, was the best approach.

The downstream decay of the wall-jet velocity was successfully predicted.

A maximum velocity of about 2 m/s was obtained and a jet thickness of about 3 mm.
