Mononuclear copper(II) complexes exhibit rich electronic spectra. Some of them show DNA binding and its complete cleavage. Possess catechol oxidation activity. Show cytotoxicity for the cervical cancer HeLa cell line. Also show cytotoxicity against C6 glioma cell line.
