The sediment yield was estimated through sedimentation behind two dams. Average annual sediment yields were 173.6 and 106.1 t/ha/a in two watersheds. A multivariate mixed model was applied to identify the sediment sources. The weathered sandstone contributed > 60% of the sediment yield.
