In this work we extend the results of previous derivations of Seiberg-like dualities (level-rank duality) between gauged Wess–Zumino–Witten theories. The arguments in use to identify a potential dual for the supersymmetric WZW theory based on the coset d="mmlsi1" class="mathmlsrc">mathImg" data-mathURL="/science?_ob=MathURL&_method=retrieve&_eid=1-s2.0-S0550321315003752&_mathId=si1.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0550321315003752&_rdoc=1&_issn=05503213&md5=4b6140e27cda562748fce80f0ed66353">mg class="imgLazyJSB inlineImage" height="25" width="59" alt="View the MathML source" title="View the MathML source" src="/sd/grey_pxl.gif" data-inlimgeid="1-s2.0-S0550321315003752-si1.gif">mathContainer hidden">mathCode"><math altimg="si1.gif" overflow="scroll"><mfrac><mrow><mi>Umi><msub><mrow><mo stretchy="false">(mo><mi>Nmi><mo>+mo><mi>Mmi><mo stretchy="false">)mo>mrow><mrow><mi>kmi>mrow>msub>mrow><mrow><mi>Umi><msub><mrow><mo stretchy="false">(mo><mi>Nmi><mo stretchy="false">)mo>mrow><mrow><mi>kmi>mrow>msub>mrow>mfrac>math> can be extended to be applied to a wider variety of gauge groups, notably d="mmlsi2" class="mathmlsrc">mathImg" data-mathURL="/science?_ob=MathURL&_method=retrieve&_eid=1-s2.0-S0550321315003752&_mathId=si2.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0550321315003752&_rdoc=1&_issn=05503213&md5=994084ffe9e1f097395a875659ff31b1">mg class="imgLazyJSB inlineImage" height="26" width="87" alt="View the MathML source" title="View the MathML source" src="/sd/grey_pxl.gif" data-inlimgeid="1-s2.0-S0550321315003752-si2.gif">mathContainer hidden">mathCode"><math altimg="si2.gif" overflow="scroll"><mfrac><mrow><mrow><mi mathvariant="italic">USpmi>mrow><msub><mrow><mo stretchy="false">(mo><mn>2mn><mi>Nmi><mo>+mo><mn>2mn><mi>Mmi><mo stretchy="false">)mo>mrow><mrow><mn>2mn><mi>kmi>mrow>msub>mrow><mrow><mrow><mi mathvariant="italic">USpmi>mrow><msub><mrow><mo stretchy="false">(mo><mn>2mn><mi>Nmi><mo stretchy="false">)mo>mrow><mrow><mn>2mn><mi>kmi>mrow>msub>mrow>mfrac>math> and d="mmlsi3" class="mathmlsrc">mathImg" data-mathURL="/science?_ob=MathURL&_method=retrieve&_eid=1-s2.0-S0550321315003752&_mathId=si3.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0550321315003752&_rdoc=1&_issn=05503213&md5=99c34b5e04b1974716b1f6fae52fc23a">mg class="imgLazyJSB inlineImage" height="25" width="81" alt="View the MathML source" title="View the MathML source" src="/sd/grey_pxl.gif" data-inlimgeid="1-s2.0-S0550321315003752-si3.gif">mathContainer hidden">mathCode"><math altimg="si3.gif" overflow="scroll"><mfrac><mrow><mrow><mi mathvariant="italic">SOmi>mrow><msub><mrow><mo stretchy="false">(mo><mn>2mn><mi>Nmi><mo>+mo><mn>2mn><mi>Mmi><mo stretchy="false">)mo>mrow><mrow><mn>2mn><mi>kmi>mrow>msub>mrow><mrow><mrow><mi mathvariant="italic">SOmi>mrow><msub><mrow><mo stretchy="false">(mo><mn>2mn><mi>Nmi><mo stretchy="false">)mo>mrow><mrow><mn>2mn><mi>kmi>mrow>msub>mrow>mfrac>math>, which will be dealt with briefly. Most interestingly, non-supersymmetric versions of the latter theories can also be shown to have duals in a similar fashion. These results are supported by several pieces of evidence, string phenomenological interpretations of Seiberg duality, even in non-supersymmetric backgrounds, are helpful to justify the formulation, then, from field theory, quantities such as central charges or Witten indices are shown to match exactly. The stability of these non-supersymmetric models is also discussed and shown to be consistent.
