We have optimized by simulation the parameters of CZTSSe thin film solar cell.

This simulation is carried out by using the MATLAB programming language.

The buffer layer thickness should be less than or equal to its space charge zone width.

The absorber layer thickness must have a value at least equal to its space charge zone width.

An optimum value of the absorber band gap around 1.5 eV is obtained.
