Fabrication and demonstration of liquid sealed no-core fiber (NCF) interferometer for temperature sensing application. An alternative method is used to convert fiber optic refractometer into temperature sensor. The temperature sensitivity was shown to be 201.17 pm/ °C. The wide range of selecting the refractive index of matching liquids with the modal properties of the fabricated structure allows the controlling of sensitivity and making it a promising temperature sensor for various applications.
