The anatase TiO2 microspheres with high exposure reactive (001) facets are synthesized with One-step hydrothermal method. Double layered structure photoelectrode films with anatase TiO2 microspheres overlayers is fabricated. The performance of dye-sensitized solar cells is effectively improved.
