Biodiesel was produced from outdoor grown marine microalgal biomass. Fuel properties of biodiesel meet ASTM D6571 and EN 14214. B40 or B50 blend showed desired TFC, SFC, BTE at 100% load. B50 or B50 reduced CO, CO2, NOx, HC emissions compared to diesel.
