Sex differences in the association between stroke and bone mineral density in elderly Koreans: The Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, 2008-2010
Korean elderly men who had had a stroke had a higher prevalence of osteopenia and osteoporosis. Men who had had a stroke exercised less at both the vigorous and the moderate-or-vigorous level. Stroke was associated with low bone mineral density in elderly Korean men but not women.
