High lithium ion conductivity in mechanically milled Nb-doped m-Li3Fe2(PO4)3

Mechanically milled Nb-substituted monoclinic Li3Fe2(PO4)3 ceramics are prepared. Solid solution limit of m-Li3Fe2(PO4)3 is10 mol.% Nb2O5 or less. Sintered 5 mol.% Nb2O5-doped m-Li3Fe2(PO4)3 shows superior Li ionic conductivity. Electric conductivity of m- Li3Fe2(PO4)3 is ∼10−9 S cm−1.
