Bilayered ceramics are sintered without cracks and with high densities. Different shrinkage results in an abnormal grain growth near to the interface. The permittivity behaviour of the composite is modelled by the mixture rule. The composite resistance cannot be predicted only from the data of pure samples. The interface effect in resistivity is modelled by equivalent circuits.
