Cauli-flower shape gold (CSG) with exposed high-index facets was obtained. The CSG catalysts exhibit enhanced anode current for methanol oxidation. The CSG catalysts show excellent stability for methanol oxidation. High-index facets are confirmed in favor of methanol oxidation.
