Preemptive multi-skilled resource investment project scheduling problem is studied. The PMSRIP is mathematically formulated with and without level switch. Two metaheuristic algorithms are proposed to tackle the PMSRIPs. Effectiveness of the proposed algorithms is analyzed based on 94 test instances.
