A study on information sharing for supply chains with multiple suppliers

We consider information sharing from a dominant retailer to multiple suppliers. The retailer’s promotion activities in the previous period are considered. The impact of a promotion activity on the next period demand is investigated. The impact of information sharing on reduction of cost and inventory is studied. The impacts are significant if demand of successive periods is correlated.
