Tribological analysis was done by 100 h endurance test on diesel engine. Comparison of lube oil degradation for diesel & a non-petroleum fuel in 100 h test. No abnormal wear could be observed when using a non-petroleum fuel. The modified engine can be successfully operated with a non-petroleum fuel.
