Zinc oxide photocatalysts have been synthesized by co-precipitation route. Structural and optical properties of photocatalysts have been studied. Photocatalyst ZnO annealed at 700 °C exhibits better dye degradation activity. Crystallinity, porosity, surface area and defects content affect photocatalyst performance.
